Mumbai, March 30: The latest film by director Aditya Dhar, titled “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” featuring Ranveer Singh, has achieved an impressive worldwide gross of ₹1,365 crore since its debut on March 19.


This remarkable financial success has solidified the film's status as one of the year's top blockbusters, highlighting Dhar's talent for creating large-scale cinematic experiences that appeal to diverse audiences.


A recent tweet from Jio Studios, the film's production company, provided a detailed breakdown of its earnings, revealing that the film garnered ₹867 crore from the Indian box office alone, maintaining strong performance after its opening week with collections of ₹53 crore on Day 8, ₹42 crore on Day 9, ₹64 crore on Day 10, and ₹71 crore on Day 11.


On a global scale, the film has amassed an astounding ₹1,365 crore, which includes ₹1,023 crore from India and ₹342 crore from international markets.

The first installment of this duology, which premiered on December 5, 2025, was also a box-office triumph, surpassing ₹1,000 crore globally within three weeks of its release.


The cast of Dhurandhar includes notable actors such as Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Gaurav Gera, and Danish Pandor.


The narrative of the first part revolves around a high-stakes covert counter-terrorism mission, following an undercover Indian intelligence officer who infiltrates Karachi's criminal organizations and political landscape in Pakistan to dismantle a terror network aimed at India.


In “Dhurandhar: The Revenge,” the undercover agent continues his infiltration into Karachi's criminal underbelly and Pakistani politics while seeking vengeance for the 26/11 attacks and tackling even greater threats.


The film's plot is loosely inspired by various real-life geopolitical incidents and conflicts in South Asia, including Operation Lyari, the 2014 Indian general election, the 2016 Indian banknote demonetization, among others. With a runtime of 229 minutes, it ranks as the eighth longest Indian film ever made.
