Dhurandhar Series Hits New Heights

Ranveer Singh has achieved remarkable success with his films Dhurandhar 1 and Dhurandhar 2. The first installment of this spy thriller, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released in theaters on December 5, 2025, and later made its debut on Netflix on January 30 of this year. Recently, the production team announced that Dhurandhar 2 Raw And Undekha will premiere digitally on June 4, with streaming starting on June 5 via JioHotstar. Before that, the extended version of Dhurandhar Raw And Undekha is set for its OTT launch.

Dhurandhar Raw And Undekha Set for OTT Release

The film Dhurandhar Raw And Undekha, featuring Ranveer in the roles of Hamza Ali Mazari and Jaskirat Singh Rangi, is scheduled for its OTT release on May 22. This extended version of Dhurandhar Part 1 will be available on both Netflix and JioHotstar, and viewers can enjoy it in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Notably, the first part will be released ahead of Dhurandhar 2 Raw And Undekha, which is set to arrive on JioHotstar in June. For those unaware, Dhurandhar 2 Raw And Undekha had its premiere in the US on Netflix on May 15, while Indian audiences will have to wait a few weeks for its availability on another platform.

Future of the Dhurandhar Franchise

In light of the tremendous success of Dhurandhar 2, fans are curious about the possibility of a third installment. Rakesh Bedi previously mentioned in an interview that while Dhurandhar 3 may not be in the works, the franchise could continue with different actors in the future. He noted, "The story concludes with the spy returning to his homeland."

However, producer Jyoti Deshpande indicated that the team is not finished with the Dhurandhar series just yet. She hinted to a media outlet that there might be a surprise for fans later this year, with speculation suggesting a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Dhurandhar. No official confirmation has been provided as of now.

Box Office Success of Dhurandhar Part 1

Featuring a stellar cast including Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun, Dhurandhar Part 1 grossed an impressive Rs 840.20 crore in India alone. The film, produced by Jio Studios and Aditya Dhar Films, amassed a total of Rs 1,307.35 crore globally, with its Indian gross reaching Rs 1,007.85 crore.
