Before its official release, Dhurandhar 2 has already set a high standard at the box office. The film's paid previews have generated significant revenue, showcasing its popularity at Indian ticket counters. Released today (March 19), the film has allowed a broader audience to enjoy it at their convenience. The buzz and anticipation surrounding the film have contributed to its success. Early projections indicate that Dhurandhar 2 is on track to reach the Rs 200 crore milestone by the end of its opening weekend.

According to initial estimates from Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 has grossed Rs 159.25 crore worldwide. In India, the earnings stand at Rs 137.00 crore, while the international collection is Rs 22.25 crore. It remains uncertain if these figures account for the revenue generated during the paid previews on March 18.

Preview Shows of Dhurandhar 2

The film's producers arranged preview screenings on Wednesday. Despite being a regular working day, many theaters across India reported full houses. The first showings began at 4:45 PM in various cities, with ticket prices soaring to Rs 1000, and premium seats reaching Rs 3000 in metropolitan areas. However, the release faced a last-minute censorship hurdle, which impacted the preview shows. Reports suggest that some theaters did not receive the final print on time, leading to cancellations and delays.

To cater to its Southern audience, Dhurandhar 2 is also being released in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Unfortunately, due to dubbing complications, many theaters were unable to screen these versions, although Hindi screenings are proceeding smoothly.

The film chronicles Hamza's transformation from Jaskirat Singh Rangi in Punjab to Hamza Ali Mazari in Lyari, illustrating his evolution into a formidable force.
