In the US, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has made history with a remarkable four-day opening of $13.5 million from just 987 theaters. This achievement not only eclipses Kalki 2898 AD as the top Indian film opener in the US but also surpasses Aamir Khan's Dangal, which had a total US run of $12.4 million back in 2016. Furthermore, the sequel recorded the second-largest three-day weekend with $9.6 million, narrowly beating RRR's three-day opening of $9.5 million from 1,200 theaters. The only film to outperform it remains Baahubali 2, which earned $10.4 million from just 425 theaters in 2017.

While RRR averaged $23.4k per theater, Dhurandhar 2 is achieving an impressive $14k average per theater. The sequel has already grossed nearly seven times more than Dhurandhar Part 1, which debuted only four months ago. Currently, Dhurandhar: The Revenge ranks ninth among the highest-grossing Indian films in the US, having made $2 million from previews on Wednesday, $1.9 million on Thursday, $3 million on Friday, $3.9 million on Saturday, and is projected to earn at least $2.7 million on Sunday, with actual figures potentially rising on Monday.
