Dhanush's Kuberaa: Cast Fees and Anticipation Ahead of Release

Excitement Builds for Kuberaa's Release
The anticipation for the upcoming film Kuberaa, featuring Dhanush, is reaching new heights as its release date approaches. This social thriller, which also stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to premiere in theaters on June 20.
While the film has generated significant buzz due to its storyline and performances, the reported salaries of the lead actors are also making headlines.
According to a report, Kuberaa has been produced with a budget of approximately Rs 120 crores.
As per sources, Dhanush, who portrays the main character Deva, is reportedly earning an impressive Rs 30 crore, which constitutes about 36% of the film's total budget. His popularity in South India and commanding screen presence make him the highest-paid actor in this project.
Veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni, who takes on the role of a mysterious character named Deepak, is said to be receiving Rs 14 crore for his performance, according to industry reports. His striking appearance in the trailer has already captivated fans.
In contrast, Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the emotionally complex character Sameera, has opted for a pay cut, reportedly charging Rs 4 crore despite her rising fame in pan-Indian cinema.
The film has recently been granted a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), with the final runtime clocking in at 181 minutes, just over three hours. Initially, the filmmakers submitted a 195-minute version, which was also approved, but they decided to shorten it to alleviate any last-minute pressures.
Kuberaa has undergone 19 cuts by the CBFC, resulting in approximately 14 minutes being trimmed from the original version.
