On its second day, 'Kuberaa' demonstrated robust performance at the box office, reportedly earning Rs 16 crore on Saturday, according to preliminary estimates from industry sources. This reflects a substantial increase from its opening day collection of Rs 14.75 crore, with contributions of Rs 10 crore from Telugu, Rs 4.5 crore from Tamil, Rs 0.23 crore from Hindi, and Rs 0.02 crore from Kannada. The cumulative total for the first two days now stands at Rs 30.75 crore.
Film Production and Storyline
'Kuberaa' is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd, with co-production by Vipul Agarwal and Manish Vasisth. The narrative follows Deva, portrayed by Dhanush, a beggar whose life transforms after encountering Deepak Tej, played by Nagarjuna, a former CBI officer. Deva also meets Sameera, portrayed by Rashmika, a woman striving to escape her circumstances in Mumbai. Jim Sarbh takes on the role of Neeraj Mitra, a corrupt CEO of a powerful corporation.

During a success meet following the film's release, Nagarjuna expressed his view of being the central character in 'Kuberaa'. He stated, “In this film, I am the main character, and everything revolves around me. The amount of screen time I received may differ, but that does not matter to me. This is Deepak's film from start to finish, as Sekhar narrated it to me. My character arc aligns with that, which is why I appreciated it.”
