With the Day 2 figures included, the total gross in India has reached Rs 15.20 crore, while the net collection stands at Rs 13.15 crore. Internationally, 'Kara' earned Rs 2.50 crore on Day 2, bringing its total overseas gross to Rs 5.00 crore. This results in a worldwide gross of Rs 20.20 crore, a commendable figure given the mixed reviews.

The Tamil version of 'Kara' is leading in earnings, collecting Rs 5.85 crore on Day 2 with a 34.0% occupancy across 2,888 shows. The Telugu version contributed Rs 1.10 crore, achieving a 20.0% occupancy across 1,293 shows. Overall, Tamil occupancy was recorded at 30.36%, with evening and night showings at 15.90% and 16.50%, respectively.
