Deepika Padukone has completed her work commitments and is now preparing to welcome her second child with Ranveer Singh, expected around October or November this year. Before her maternity leave, she filmed for two highly awaited projects – King and Raaka. Recently, she made a rare public appearance in Mumbai, spotted with Ranveer outside a popular restaurant. The couple was seen leaving Benne, a café famous for its delicious benne dosas and other South Indian dishes, accompanied by tight security.

In a trending video, Deepika and Ranveer were seen exiting Benne after enjoying a meal. Deepika opted for a casual co-ord outfit, while Ranveer wore black pants paired with a relaxed T-shirt. Both covered their faces with masks for privacy.

Ranveer Singh to Begin Filming for Pralay

While Deepika has not announced any new projects following King and Raaka, Ranveer is set to start filming for Pralay alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan in August. The shooting schedule is expected to continue until Diwali, after which the production will take a break. Following the arrival of their second child, Ranveer will take paternity leave, with filming anticipated to resume in 2027.

Before her maternity leave, Deepika traveled to South Africa to film a song with Shah Rukh Khan for King. She also filmed significant action sequences for the climax, alongside Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan. Photos and videos from the picturesque locations quickly gained popularity online. Their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, was also present on set with her father. After wrapping up in South Africa, Deepika returned to Mumbai to continue filming Raaka, where she had approximately 50 to 60 days of work remaining. Despite rumors about her role being reduced due to her pregnancy, Allu Arjun’s team officially denied these claims.

Deepika announced her second pregnancy on April 19, sharing a heartwarming photo of Dua holding the pregnancy test.
