Deanne Panday Shares Emotional Story of Ahaan Panday's Premature Birth

Alanna Panday, a prominent influencer and YouTuber, recently featured her mother, Deanne Panday, in a vlog where she recounted the challenging circumstances surrounding the premature birth of her son, Ahaan. Ahaan, who is also the cousin of actress Ananya Panday, was born a staggering 42 days ahead of schedule and encountered significant health issues from the outset.
Deanne reflected on the anxious moments leading up to Ahaan's birth, stating, 'About 42 days prior to my due date, I noticed my water breaking slightly. It happened again, prompting us to wake up my mother-in-law, who immediately contacted a doctor. The doctor advised us to head to the hospital without delay.'
Due to the urgent situation, Deanne underwent a C-section. She vividly described Ahaan's size at birth, saying, 'After the sonography, it was clear that all the amniotic fluid had drained, and Ahaan was curled up in one corner. They rushed me for an emergency C-section, and when Ahaan was delivered, he was as small as a rat. They took him away, and I lost consciousness.'
Ahaan's Journey to Recovery
Alanna added a poignant detail, revealing that Ahaan was transported to the NICU in a cooler, specifically a thermocol box. 'Mom left out a crucial part. Ahaan was moved in a cooler—a thermocol box! This was 25 years ago, making it quite a dramatic story,' she remarked.
Following the birth, Deanne was taken to Nanavati Hospital, where she experienced the heartache of being separated from her newborn. She shared, 'They kept me away from my baby, and I was wheeled down in immense pain to my room. I noticed a small stick on his tiny leg due to a hairline fracture he had sustained. This is what Ahaan endured. I spent ten days in the hospital nursing him.'
Ahaan's Upcoming Bollywood Debut
On a professional note, Ahaan is gearing up for his debut in Bollywood. Yash Raj Films has officially announced a romantic drama titled 'Saiyaara,' which will mark Ahaan's entry into the film industry. The movie is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on July 18, 2025.
