Vijayalakshmi Takes Charge of Darshan's Social Media

Bengaluru: Vijayalakshmi, the wife of Kannada film actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, announced on Sunday that she will manage her husband's social media accounts to keep fans updated and promote his films while he is unable to do so himself.

Currently, Darshan is incarcerated due to his involvement in the murder case of Renukaswamy, alongside his associate Pavithra Gowda and others.

In a heartfelt message shared on X, Vijayalakshmi expressed, "Dear #DBoss Celebrities, your Challenging Star holds each of you dear. Until he can reconnect with you, I will oversee his social media to provide updates and promote his movies on his behalf."

She further added, "The love, prayers, and patience you all show provide immense strength to him and our family. Let’s maintain our unity and positivity—he will return soon, bringing the same love and energy you have always known. With gratitude and love, Vijayalakshmi Darshan."

Darshan, affectionately known as the 'Challenging Star', was recently re-arrested after the Supreme Court revoked his bail in the Renukaswamy murder case. This incident involved the tragic death of a fan from Chitradurga, allegedly due to Darshan and his associates responding to obscene messages sent to Pavithra Gowda via social media.
