Danish Iqbal Unveils His Character in Dhurandhar 2
The mystery surrounding the identity of Bade Sahab has finally been solved! Actor Danish Iqbal, recognized for his role as Dilshad in Maharani 2, has been revealed as Bade Sahab in Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2. Following the film's release, Danish participated in an exclusive interview where he discussed his significant role in the movie featuring Ranveer Singh. Interestingly, his character is also named Dawood Ibrahim, but until recently, Danish was unaware that he was portraying Bade Sahab.

When asked what drew him to Dhurandhar 2 and his character, Danish shared, "I must say, the discussion about Bade Sahab was never on the table. Just a couple of months ago, I too was in the dark about playing Bade Sahab. I had my doubts. Aditya was quite secretive and kept many details to himself."
He further explained that he only learned what was essential for his character as he began working on the spy thriller. "I was aware that I was portraying Dawood, but the connection to Bade Sahab was not entirely clear to me. Everyone referred to me as Dawood bhai or Sahab, but no one explicitly mentioned my character's name. I was the one delivering all the dialogues in my scenes," he added.

Danish also shared his thoughts on portraying an older version of Dawood Ibrahim in Dhurandhar The Revenge. He noted that this portrayal of Dawood's age had never been seen on screen before Aditya's film. "I've witnessed remarkable performances by other actors portraying various ages and characters. As an actor, I was intrigued by how to effectively bring such a character to life on screen. While I have extensive experience in theatre, this is my first venture into cinema at this level and intensity," he remarked.
