While there are no confirmed plans yet, a recent conversation between Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow has certainly stirred excitement among fans of Friends. The two actresses reminisced about their time on the show, shared behind-the-scenes stories, and even playfully discussed the possibility of reuniting for a new project. A particular moment in their chat hinted at a potential reunion featuring the beloved trio from the iconic series.

Is a Friends Reunion in the Works?

The dialogue unfolded during Variety's Actors on Actors series, where Lisa Kudrow expressed her desire to embark on another television venture. "I would love to do another one, if anyone wrote a good one. Let's do it. You heard it here!" she exclaimed. Aniston chimed in, asking, "Oh, wow. What's it going to be?"

Kudrow then suggested an idea that fans have longed for: "Can we do you, me and Courteney? What would that be?" referencing Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller. Aniston enthusiastically responded, "Girlfriends. Let's pitch it. Let's workshop it in front of all of these wonderful people."

While their banter was lighthearted, the thought of seeing the trio back together is undeniably exciting. For many fans, the friendship between Rachel, Monica, and Phoebe was a highlight of Friends, showcasing female camaraderie. Monica was the competitive and organized member of the group, Rachel evolved from a runaway bride to a successful fashion executive, and Phoebe's quirky charm made her a beloved character. Together, they were the emotional core of the series.

Lisa Kudrow's Unique Relationship with Friends

The conversation also shed light on Kudrow's unexpected relationship with watching Friends. Aniston was surprised to learn that Kudrow rarely watched the show after filming. Kudrow explained that while the cast initially gathered to watch episodes together, she eventually stopped. "It was really fun. And then we got busy," she noted, revealing that there were entire episodes she had never seen. "I just couldn't sit there at home and have anyone walk by seeing me watching a show that I'm in. Because it felt embarrassing to me."

Aniston humorously teased Kudrow about not wanting to watch herself being "brilliant and funny." Kudrow laughed, admitting she often questioned some of Phoebe's most memorable lines. Aniston defended Kudrow's performance, reminding her that it was one of the reasons audiences loved Phoebe. Interestingly, Kudrow has since watched the entire series and enjoyed it immensely, stating, "Loved it with all my heart," and often found herself binge-watching late into the night!
