Concerns Rise Over WWE Evolution 2025 Amid Low Ticket Sales

WWE Evolution 2025 is generating significant buzz as it approaches, but concerns are mounting over low ticket sales and dissatisfaction among female wrestlers regarding the event's promotion. With only a fraction of tickets sold compared to the concurrent Saturday Night's Main Event, many believe WWE's focus on competition with AEW may be impacting the event's success. Wrestlers have expressed feelings of neglect, questioning the support from WWE executives. The event, set for July 13, 2025, features an all-women's match card that includes championship bouts and a battle royal. As the date nears, the wrestling community is watching closely to see how this historic event unfolds.

Concerns Rise Over WWE Evolution 2025 Amid Low Ticket Sales

The buildup to WWE Evolution 2025 is generating significant discussion, particularly given the chaotic circumstances surrounding its organization. With numerous wrestling and mainstream events scheduled for the same weekend, there are speculations that WWE may have pushed for this event to compete directly with AEW, despite concerns about its potential underperformance.

WrestleTix shared insights on July 4th regarding ticket sales for the upcoming weekend at Atlanta's State Farm Arena, which will host both Saturday Night's Main Event and WWE Evolution. The Main Event, featuring Bill Goldberg's retirement match against Gunther on July 12th, is nearly sold out, with 10,731 tickets already distributed and only 1,784 remaining.

In stark contrast, WWE Evolution 2025, set for July 13th, has only seen 4,804 tickets sold, leaving 1,578 still available. This is particularly surprising given that tickets for the all-women's event are priced at a mere $56.75, significantly lower than the standard admission for the Main Event, which starts at $103.35.

Hugo Savinovich, speaking on Lucha Libre Online, highlighted the dissatisfaction among female wrestlers regarding the event's management. Many feel that WWE executives, particularly Triple H, have not provided adequate support or attention to this landmark occasion.

Despite public statements from Stephanie McMahon and Triple H expressing their commitment to women's wrestling, the reality appears different. Many wrestlers feel that the promotion for WWE Evolution 2025 has been insufficient, and the lack of engaging storylines has left them feeling overlooked.

“They feel they were placed in an event that’s not receiving proper support. Yet people like Stephanie McMahon and Triple H supposedly believe it’s important for the market and acknowledge that women do draw revenue and have headlined major shows like WrestleMania. The issue with Evolution 2 is that many of the wrestlers feel neglected.”
