Shahid Kapoor Discusses His Return to Romantic Comedies
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Shahid shared his thoughts on the creative challenge of returning to the rom-com genre after a long break. He expressed concerns about the risk of repetition, noting that audiences might feel they have seen similar performances before. He acknowledged that while actors can evolve over time, their performances may not always reflect that change. "For me, the challenge was to revisit something familiar while finding a fresh perspective. Homi approached the project without being influenced by my previous work, which allowed me to explore the character in a new light," he explained.
