When compared to the 2017 reboot of The Mummy featuring Tom Cruise, which had a hefty budget of $125 million and grossed $409.2 million worldwide, this new installment needs to reach an earnings-to-budget ratio of about 3.27x. This translates to a target of approximately $71.9 million globally to match its predecessor's performance. Currently, it is just $1.2 million shy of this goal, indicating a strong likelihood of surpassing the 2017 film's earnings-to-budget ratio in the coming days.
