Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan's new film, Bhoot Bangla, is making waves at the box office, showcasing impressive earnings compared to other films released this year. This horror-comedy has successfully captured the attention of moviegoers, leading to remarkable financial results since its release.


On its sixth day, Bhoot Bangla garnered ₹6.15 crore net in India, marking a 23.1% drop from the previous day's collection of ₹8.00 crore net. Nevertheless, the film continues to perform strongly across the nation, amassing a total of ₹78.90 crore net by the end of its sixth day. The gross earnings in India reached ₹93.87 crore, bolstered by 11,584 screenings nationwide, highlighting its popularity in both major cities and smaller towns.


On the international front, Bhoot Bangla added ₹2.00 crore to its overseas total on Day 6, bringing the cumulative overseas gross to ₹33.50 crore. When combined with domestic earnings, the film's worldwide gross has soared to ₹127.37 crore within just six days of its release. The film's successful opening week has been characterized by consistent audience attendance, with daily show counts fluctuating between 2,485 and 12,386, driven by positive word-of-mouth and weekend viewing habits.


The film's first Sunday turned out to be its most lucrative day, raking in ₹23.00 crore net in India, with an impressive occupancy rate of 36.0% across 11,682 shows. This trend suggests that families and groups are opting for weekend viewings of Bhoot Bangla, significantly contributing to its overall success.


Bhoot Bangla kicked off its journey with paid previews, earning ₹3.75 crore net. It debuted in 2,485 shows with an initial occupancy of 30.0%. Following a strong opening Friday collection of ₹12.25 crore from 12,386 shows, the film experienced a notable surge on Saturday, earning ₹19.00 crore net. The total collection for the opening weekend reached ₹54.25 crore, while weekday earnings followed typical patterns of decline, with Monday's collection at ₹6.75 crore net and a slight recovery on Tuesday with ₹8.00 crore net.
