Despite facing a tax evasion scandal, Cha Eun-Woo's photography exhibition titled Afterimage is set to proceed in Ginza, Tokyo. The ASTRO member's agency confirmed that the exhibition will showcase his photographic works. Earlier this year, Cha Eun-Woo was under investigation by the Seoul Regional Tax Office for alleged tax evasion amounting to around 20 billion KRW (approximately $13.7 million). This exhibition marks his first public event since the controversy emerged. Currently serving in the military, he will not be present at the exhibition.

The exhibition will feature a theme titled 'An Ordinary Day,' showcasing various snapshots from Cha Eun-Woo's daily life, divided into seven distinct time zones and spaces. These images will also connect to his photo album Me: Unbox, which is set to be released in 2025.

Following the public revelation of these charges on January 22, Cha Eun-Woo addressed the issue on his Instagram account on January 26, offering an apology.
