This year’s celebration is particularly special as all seven members of BTS have reunited after completing their mandatory military service in June 2025. In addition to birthday celebrations, fans have praised Suga for his philanthropic efforts, particularly his substantial donation to Severance Children’s Hospital in Seoul. This hospital, part of the Yonsei Medical Center, is one of South Korea's oldest and largest university hospitals. Suga's remarkable contribution of 5 billion Won (approximately $3.6 million) established the ‘Min Yoongi Treatment Center’ aimed at assisting children and youth with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Additionally, he donated another one billion won ($720,000) to enhance medical care for children. This donation is recognized as the largest contribution made by a K-pop idol. Furthermore, Suga has collaborated on the music-based “MIND” therapy program, working with experts to promote emotional expression, social skills, and long-term care for children with ASD.
