On February 18, BTS fans, known as ARMY, celebrated Hobi Day in honor of J-Hope's 32nd birthday. While many anticipated a live session on Weverse and charitable acts to mark the occasion, there was much more happening behind the scenes. As the K-pop group, consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, prepares for their much-anticipated fifth studio album ARIRANG, set to release on March 20, promotional activities are in full swing. Netflix, their streaming partner, is generating buzz with a free concert titled BTS The Comeback Live | ARIRANG, which will be broadcast from Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Square. The platform has been sharing numerous videos, images, and trailers showcasing the band's return, including a special moment from Hobi's birthday celebration.
Behind-the-Scenes of Hobi Day
On March 15, Netflix's official Instagram account posted a delightful video featuring BTS members surprising J-Hope with a birthday cake. This heartwarming scene was part of a promotional shoot, and it turns out that the filming took place on Hobi's special day. The members, dressed in stylish black suits, sang a birthday song as Jin entered with the cake. A humorous moment occurred when J-Hope exclaimed, "Hope the Netflix broadcast is a hit!" to which RM jokingly replied, "What is this, the World Cup?"
J-Hope: The 'Sunshine' of BTS
Known as the 'Sunshine' of BTS, J-Hope is adored for his infectious energy and exceptional dance skills. After completing his mandatory military service in 2025, he released popular tracks like Killin It, Girl and Mona Lisa last year, in addition to leading his first solo world tour, Hope On The Stage. To express gratitude for his achievements over the past year, J-Hope continued his tradition of philanthropy by making donations in celebration of his birthday this year.

As the countdown to BTS's comeback continues, ARMY is eagerly anticipating the band's return. Members like V, Jimin, and RM have been sharing glimpses of their dance rehearsals and preparations for the upcoming show, while Netflix teases exciting trailers.
