He emphasized the effort that goes into crafting their scenes to elicit laughter from the audience. Speaking to a media outlet, Tanuj remarked, “This trio is popular for a reason. There’s a man who admires a woman, whose husband is not conventionally handsome but is intelligent. We aim to entertain with their humorous interactions. Babita (Munmun Dutta) possesses beauty, while Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) makes every effort to impress her. I have to navigate both negative and positive aspects in this dynamic.”

He elaborated, “Whenever Jethalal converses with Babita, Iyer is always suspicious. We have managed to keep this comedy fresh for 18 years, and that’s why it has become iconic. Our hard work is evident in every episode.”
