On the international stage, Mortal Kombat II garnered an estimated $3 million over its third weekend, marking a significant 70% decline from the previous week. This brings its international total to $45.5 million across 79 markets. When combined with its domestic earnings, the film's worldwide total is estimated at around $120 million, still about $2 million short of surpassing the global total of the 1995 Mortal Kombat, which stands at $122 million.
As Mortal Kombat II continues its global run, industry experts are closely monitoring its performance, with estimates suggesting it could reach a total of $135 million. The film's ability to navigate the competitive box office landscape will determine its legacy within the franchise.
