Now, host Sean Evans has officially confirmed that BTS will be the featured guests, promising an unforgettable episode.
BTS's Appearance on Hot Ones Confirmed
On social media, the official Hot Ones account announced, "BTS is coming to Hot Ones! Fresh off the release of their new album, ARIRANG, the global pop sensation will tackle the wings of death for our Season 29 finale. Expect 70 wings, 7 chairs, and the largest Hot Ones table we've ever had. Tune in on April 9th at 11am EST for a spicy experience!" Additionally, Sean Evans shared a teaser to excite the ARMY.
In a previous teaser, the First We Feast celebrity interview series released a short clip suggesting something significant is on the horizon. The caption read, "The countdown begins [curious eyes emoji]," as the video showed the host approaching the table setup. Observant fans noticed an unusual number of chairs, hinting at the show's unique format for this episode. The overlay text stated, "Sean preparing for the biggest hot ones ever."
ARMY Expresses Concern for V
Fans are particularly worried about V's ability to handle spicy food, as he has previously mentioned his struggles with spice during live streams and interviews. Many took to Instagram to express their concerns, with comments like, "THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR MY GOOD FRIEND TAEHYUNG," and "been manifesting this since 2021 (tae I’m so sorry)." Another fan humorously stated, "Using a time machine to save Taehyung from you guys," while one more pleaded, "ICECREAAAAM FOR KIM TAEHYUNG PLEASEEEE."
BTS's recent comeback with ARIRANG has been nothing short of phenomenal. Last month, over 104,000 fans gathered in Seoul, setting a record for the largest public concert in South Korea's history. While only 22,000 fans managed to secure the coveted “Golden Ticket” for the main seating area, more than ten times that number watched the concert on massive outdoor screens, showcasing BTS's immense cultural influence and their ability to attract unprecedented crowds.
