The members of BTS are making waves with their remarkable return, now collaborating with Major League Baseball (MLB) as they expand their influence in the USA. Following the launch of their latest album ARIRANG, the band has joined forces with MLB to enhance the league's opening week promotions. The initial promotional video has been released, featuring one of the album's most dynamic tracks, showcasing a seamless blend of K-pop and American sports culture.

FYA Hits a Home Run

The first promotional video, shared on BTS and MLB's social media channels, highlights the energetic track FYA from their fifth studio album ARIRANG. This clip combines the catchy rhythms of the song with exhilarating moments from baseball's top players, including Aaron Judge, Shohei Ohtani, and Juan Soto. The visuals, showcasing powerful swings and celebratory scenes, perfectly align with the song's vibrant energy, building excitement for the upcoming MLB season.

This collaboration is just the first of three promotional videos that BTS and MLB plan to unveil. The second video is set to premiere on Wednesday, coinciding with the opening game of the 2026 season between the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park in California. This game will also be streamed live on Netflix, enhancing its global visibility. The traditional opening day of the MLB season will take place on Thursday, featuring 13 games across the league. A third BTS x MLB promotional video is anticipated to be released the following week, furthering the excitement of this unique partnership.

BTS's Grand Comeback with ARIRANG

The timing of this collaboration is particularly strategic, as BTS made a significant comeback on March 20 with their album ARIRANG, followed by a major concert in Seoul the next day. The group, consisting of Kim Nam-joon (RM), Kim Seok-jin (Jin), Min Yoon-gi (Suga), Jung Ho-seok (J-Hope), Park Ji-min (Jimin), Kim Tae-hyung (V), and Jeon Jung-kook (Jungkook), is currently in the United States promoting their album.

As part of their promotional efforts, BTS recently participated in a Spotify fan event and will be featured in consecutive episodes of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon airing on Wednesday and Thursday. Additionally, on March 27, the group will release a documentary on Netflix that chronicles their journey while creating the album in Los Angeles.
