After a prolonged hiatus, the iconic K-pop group is set to make a significant comeback. A new trailer for the documentary titled BTS: The Return has been unveiled, offering fans a sneak peek into the emotional journey of the band as they prepare to hit the stage once again. The teaser features the seven members reflecting on their origins, challenges, and the thrill of reuniting after years apart. They describe themselves as 'country kids from Korea' and delve into the profound significance of their upcoming album, ARIRANG. The trailer suggests an exciting new chapter for the group.

This trailer provides an intimate glimpse into the members' preparations for their return to the limelight after nearly four years. In the footage, the group candidly discusses the pressures of re-entering a rapidly changing industry. RM, the leader, acknowledges the swift evolution of music trends, stating, 'Trends shift every season. Standing still isn’t an option.' He adds, 'And we’re trying to find out what makes us BTS.'

BTS initially announced their hiatus in 2022 to focus on individual projects and fulfill South Korea’s mandatory military service. After more than three years, the second chapter of BTS is finally beginning! Earlier this year, the group confirmed their comeback plans along with the release date for their new album, set to launch on March 20. Additionally, they have teamed up with Netflix for a special live concert event titled BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG, which will be held at Gwanghwamun Square and streamed globally on Netflix on March 21. The documentary BTS: The Return is scheduled to premiere on March 27 on Netflix, directed by Bao Nguyen, and will follow the band as they rebuild their creative partnership and embark on a new era together.
