BTS Faces Legal Action Amidst Successful Comeback with ARIRANG
BTS's Remarkable Return and Legal Measures
Following their impressive comeback with the album ARIRANG, BTS has encountered some negativity alongside their success. Just days after the full group—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—reunited, BIGHIT MUSIC has initiated legal proceedings against individuals disseminating harmful content about the group across various online platforms. This action by the HYBE subsidiary comes after identifying organized groups, with a commitment to hold offenders accountable.

BIGHIT also addressed issues related to intellectual property (IP) violations, stating that they are collaborating with relevant authorities to combat illegal goods, unauthorized sales near concert venues, customs violations, and illegal online platforms. "Illegal products that misuse the artists’ IP infringe on their rights and can financially harm fans during purchases. To safeguard the artists’ IP and prevent fan losses, we strongly advise against buying illegal goods," the spokesperson added. BTS released their fifth studio album ARIRANG on March 20, followed by a free concert at Seoul's Gwanghwamun Square the next day. The group is set to embark on a global tour starting April 9.
