BTS ARIRANG World Tour Launches Spectacularly

The highly anticipated BTS ARIRANG World Tour commenced in a breathtaking manner, as the heavens opened up to shower blessings on the beloved boy band—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—who graced the stadium stage after a hiatus of nearly 3.5 years. Despite the downpour, the energy of the septet and their devoted fans, known as ARMYs, remained undeterred. This extensive world tour, valued at approximately $1 billion, will cover 34 cities across 23 countries with 85 shows, promising fans an extraordinary K-pop concert experience. The OT7 performed seamlessly in the rain, ensuring that every attendee at the sold-out venue left with joy in their hearts, supported by the enthusiastic ARMYs waving purple-red lightsticks and singing along.

Opening with 'Keep Swimming'

BTS opened the show with 'Keep Swimming'

With the theme of "Keep Swimming" resonating throughout the ARIRANG tour, BTS kicked off the concert by showcasing their latest tracks. They performed songs like Hooligan, SWIM, Aliens, 2.0, Please, they don't know 'bout us, Like Animals, and Body to Body, ensuring no fan favorite was left out. A standout moment occurred when the group invited the audience to sing along during the Arirang segment of Body to Body, set against a backdrop of fireworks, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Fans expressed immense gratitude for the live debut of the hidden track "Come Over," led by Suga.

A Mix of New Hits and Timeless Classics

From new releases to classics

The band also delighted fans with timeless hits such as Dynamite and Fake Love. A remixed version of Run BTS and an unexpected mashup of FYA x Burning Up (Fire) were highlights, along with the impeccably synchronized Mic Drop. J-Hope's rap segments during each act were particularly memorable.

Playful Moments from V, Jimin, and Jungkook

The concert featured charming interactions, such as Jimin drying V's hair with a towel and Jungkook skillfully handling the camera during the performance. V and Jimin further entertained fans with an impromptu performance of I Need U. A lighthearted moment occurred when Jungkook removed a broken eyelash from V's face, prompting laughter from the audience. The concert, which lasted around three hours, included at least 24 tracks and marked the conclusion of Day 1 in Goyang.
