A Surprising Hit in Bollywood

Amidst the release of several high-profile Bollywood films, the low-budget production 'Hanuman Ansh' is making waves at the box office. Despite facing competition from titles like 'Haivan' and 'Mirzapur: The Movie', 'Hanuman Ansh' continues to thrive.

**Achieving the ₹200 Crore Milestone**
Produced on a modest budget of merely ₹2 crore, 'Hanuman Ansh' has impressively crossed the ₹200 crore mark in earnings. This film has outperformed several major releases in terms of box office revenue.

Remarkably, 'Hanuman Ansh' has maintained its position as the top film at the Indian box office even after six weeks since its release. It has now become the lowest-budget Indian film to join the ₹200 crore club.

**Initial Struggles at the Box Office**
Initially, 'Hanuman Ansh' had a slow start, earning just ₹10 lakh on its opening day. The first two weeks were underwhelming, with total earnings reaching only ₹1.48 crore.

However, the film began to gain traction as audiences responded positively, leading to a notable increase in box office performance. On the 16th day, earnings surged, and the film continued to perform exceptionally well in the subsequent weeks.

In its fourth week, the film grossed around ₹61 crore, and by the fifth week, earnings climbed to approximately ₹90 crore. The sixth week kicked off impressively, with the film recording net earnings of ₹10.50 crore on its 36th day, bringing its total net collection in India to ₹174 crore.

**Surpassing Other Films**
'Hanuman Ansh' has yet to see an international release, resulting in a current worldwide gross of about ₹205 crore. It has officially entered the ₹200 crore club globally.

With a production budget of just ₹2 crore, it has set a new record as the lowest-budget film to achieve ₹200 crore, even surpassing 'The Kashmir Files', which had a budget of around ₹15 crore.
