Last week, the theatrical release of Bhool Chuk Maaf and Kesari Veer took place, with Rajkummar Rao's comedy film emerging as the frontrunner. Bhool Chuk Maaf, featuring Rajkummar Rao alongside Wamiqa Gabbi, is a romantic comedy that incorporates a time loop element. In contrast, Kesari Veer, starring Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty, is a historical war drama. Let's take a look at their box office earnings so far.

Box Office Collection Update: Day 7 for Bhool Chuk Maaf and Kesari Veer

As reported by Sacnilk, Bhool Chuk Maaf garnered approximately Rs 3.25 crore on its seventh day, bringing its total earnings to Rs 44 crore. On the other hand, Kesari Veer has faced challenges at the box office, accumulating only Rs 1.53 crore overall, with a mere Rs 14 lakhs earned on day 7.

Originally set for an OTT release on May 16, Bhool Chuk Maaf was later launched in theaters on May 23. Following its theatrical run, the film is expected to be available on Prime Video. The cast also includes notable actors such as Sanjay Mishra, Seema Bhargava Pahwa, Zakir Hussain, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, Anubha Fateh Puria, Jay Thakkar, and Pragati Mishra in significant roles.

The film previously stirred controversy when the producers opted for a direct OTT release. This decision prompted PVRInox to issue a legal notice to Maddock Films and Pen Marudhar. The choice to release Bhool Chuk Maaf directly on streaming platforms was influenced by recent events and increased security measures nationwide.

In the meantime, Kesari Veer features a cast that includes Suniel Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sooraj Pancholi, and Akanksha Sharma, with the film being written and produced by Chauhan Studios.
