Janhvi Kapoor is not apologetic about her legacy; Says she is grateful to be a part of her family

While speaking at the India Today Conclave 2023, Janhvi Kapoor opened up about being a part of the famous Kapoor family and what it takes for a star kid to make it big in the film industry. Interestingly, the young actress said she is tired of apologizing about her heritage, adding that she is grateful to have been born into her family.
"The heritage angle became my identity. Now, it's a source of inspiration. I've reached a point in my life where I'm tired of apologizing about it. This is my lineage. This is the family I'm born into. This is the work they have done," elaborated Janhvi, who is the daughter of legendary actress Sridevi and veteran producer Boney Kapoor. "Why should that be taken away from who I am? It is what it is now. I am thankful and grateful that I have received so much because of it. I will work harder to do justice to it," she added.
Janhvi Kapoor Upcoming Projects
Janhvi Kapoor will next be seen in the romantic drama Baawal, which marks her first onscreen collaboration with Varun Dhawan. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is slated to hit theaters in August 2023. She is currently busy shooting for Mr. and Mrs. Mahi, an upcoming sports drama that marks her reunion with her Roohi co-star, Rajkumar Rao. Janhvi Kapoor is also all set to make her much-awaited debut in the Telugu film industry with the upcoming Junior NTR starrer tentatively titled NTR 30.
