The film is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Telefilms. The film premiered at the 24th Busan International Film Festival under the section “A Window on Asian Cinema” on 4 October 2019. The film will premiere on Netflix on 18 September 2020
