Bollywood is gearing up for an innovative venture. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala, currently engaged with the high-budget comedy Welcome to the Jungle, has reportedly enlisted Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff for a unique zombie comedy. This untitled film will be directed by Ahmed Khan, known for his previous collaborations with Tiger. Filming is anticipated to commence before the close of 2025.
Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff Join Forces for Zombie Comedy
As reported by Variety India, Firoz Nadiadwala is set to produce a zombie comedy under the direction of Ahmed Khan. Both Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff are confirmed for the project, although specific plot details remain undisclosed. This film could be a thrilling addition to the genre, as the zombie comedy niche has seen little exploration since Raj & DK's Go Goa Gone in 2013. If executed effectively, it could pave the way for a new genre in Hindi cinema.
For Tiger Shroff, this marks a significant shift. His career has predominantly revolved around action films like Baaghi and Heropanti. A zombie comedy will be his first foray into the realm of humor, and fans are eager to see his performance. He has previously collaborated with Ahmed Khan on films such as Baaghi 2, Baaghi 3, and Heropanti 2.
Another zombie-themed project in development is Ranveer Singh's Pralay, which leans more towards action and dark thriller elements.
Upcoming Projects for Shanaya Kapoor and Tiger Shroff
Shanaya Kapoor made her debut in Bollywood with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, alongside Vikrant Massey. She later appeared in the survival thriller Tu Yaa Main with Adarsh Gourav, but both films did not perform well at the box office. Although she was initially signed for Mohanlal's Vrusshabha, she is no longer attached to that project.
Tiger Shroff, on the other hand, has Lag Jaa Gale set for release in 2026. This film, produced by Dharma Productions, will feature him in a romantic role opposite Janhvi Kapoor, along with Lakshya.

In the meantime, Firoz Nadiadwala and Ahmed Khan's upcoming project, Welcome To The Jungle, is slated for release on June 26, 2026.
