He claimed that he was threatened with physical harm when he sought his payment. Overcome with emotion, Soni revealed that he had already completed eight days of filming, yet his remuneration was still pending. Upon confronting the director, he alleged that he faced intimidation. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has voiced its concern regarding Soni's claims. The organization has called on the Madhya Pradesh government to promptly address the situation and initiate a thorough investigation. They have also urged Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to instruct the police to file a First Information Report (FIR) against the producer and director based on Soni's allegations, ensuring the safety of film workers and artists in the region. AICWA stated, "The emotional video shared by Satendra Soni reflects the pain and distress he says he has endured. His allegations raise serious concerns about the treatment of artists and workers in the Indian film industry. No artist or worker should have to endure such treatment." They emphasized that many artists face similar harassment and that these complaints warrant serious attention. The association reiterated, "This is not a minor matter. The Government of Madhya Pradesh should take immediate cognizance of this issue and ensure a fair and impartial investigation. Every worker and artist deserves dignity, timely payment, and protection from intimidation."

Meanwhile, the production team of the film, titled Pedh Palki, has yet to respond to the allegations regarding payment delays and intimidation.
