Mukul Dev's Untimely Passing

Mukul Dev, a prominent figure in Bollywood, sadly passed away on May 23. His brother, Rahul Dev, who is also an actor, announced the news, revealing that Mukul died peacefully in his sleep. The details surrounding the cause of his death remain undisclosed.

In his heartfelt message, Rahul Dev stated, "Our brother Mukul Dev passed away peacefully in New Delhi last night. He is survived by his daughter, Sia Dev, and will be missed by his siblings, Rashmi Kaushal, Rahul Dev, and nephew Sidhant Dev. The cremation is scheduled for 5 PM today."

The news of Mukul Dev's death was initially confirmed by his friend and fellow actor, Vindhu Dara Singh. Reflecting on Mukul's passing, Vindhu shared, "After the loss of his parents, Mukul became reclusive, rarely leaving his home or meeting others. His health declined in recent days, leading to hospitalization. My heartfelt condolences go out to his brother and all who knew him. He was a remarkable individual, and his absence will be deeply felt."

Actor Manoj Bajpayee also expressed his sorrow, writing on social media, "Words cannot capture my feelings. Mukul was like a brother to me, an artist whose warmth and passion were unparalleled. He left us too soon. I pray for strength for his family and all who are mourning this loss. Miss you, my dear friend… until we meet again, Om Shanti."

Mukul Dev appeared in numerous successful films, including 'Son Of Sardaar', 'Yamla Pagla Deewana', 'R…Rajkumar', 'Creature 3D', 'Jai Ho', and 'Omerta'. He also made a mark on television with popular shows like 'Kutumb' and 'Kumkum'. Notably, he received the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his performance in '21 Sarfarosh – Saragarhi 1897'.

He began his Bollywood journey with the film 'Dastak' in 1996, which also marked the debut of actress Sushmita Sen.
