The authorities revealed that Hemant, whose full name is Hemant Nagindas Purushottamdas Modi, maintained a prominent presence in the entertainment sector while evading capture. He was involved in notable projects such as Thugs Of Hindostan, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan. Additionally, he reportedly acted in Jayeshbhai Jordaar alongside Ranveer Singh.
In addition to these films, Modi appeared in Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino, featuring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. He also took part in Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan.
