The trailer opens with Bobby's character in a police station, showcasing his interactions with various women and his aspirations of stardom. Nikhil Dwivedi, the producer of Bandar, shared the trailer on his social media account, stating, "Written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, Bandar is directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by Nikhil Dwivedi under Saffron Magicworks, presented by Zee Studios, and is set for a theatrical release on June 5!" The trailer indicates that Bobby's character, Samir, faces serious allegations of sexual assault from a woman, although he maintains his innocence. The film also stars Saba Azad, Sanya Malhotra, Nagesh Bhonsle, Sapna Pabbi, Jitendra Joshi, among others.

In a recent statement, Bobby discussed his role in Bandar, expressing that actors often seek to break free from their established images. He mentioned, "I have experienced this myself, but I can confidently say that taking on this role pushed me out of my comfort zone. I set aside my shyness and embraced this film wholeheartedly."

Bobby Deol's Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, Bobby is set to appear in Alpha alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, this film marks the first female-led spy thriller in the YRF spy universe and is scheduled for a grand release on July 10, 2026. Additionally, he will feature in Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth, which was initially slated for a January 9 release but has faced delays due to certification issues. This film stars Tamil Nadu CM Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role.
