The house currently hosts 16 contestants, including Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Mallik, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajker, Zeishan Qadri, Baseer Ali, Abhishek Bajaj, Tanya Mittal, Kunicka Sadanand, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul Tiwari, and Farhana Bhatt. Although Farhana was initially set to be evicted, she was instead placed in a secret room. Additionally, Shehbaz Badesha was eliminated during the 'Fans Ka Faisla' segment at the premiere.
The show's theme, 'Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar', draws inspiration from democratic principles, adding an intriguing layer to the competition. 'Bigg Boss 19' airs on JioHotstar at 9 PM and on Colors TV at 10:30 PM.
Salman Khan will host the show for the first three months, with other celebrities like Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Anil Kapoor expected to take over later. This change is due to Salman’s commitments to his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, which will coincide with the latter part of the season.
