Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Film Festival (BFF) is set to take place from June 25 to 28 at the Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
On Friday, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi officially announced the festival's schedule at Lok Seva Bhawan.
During a discussion with Festival Director Sanjay Pattnaik and Co-Directors Sukanta Rath and Ashok Palit, the Chief Minister commended the festival's efforts in showcasing Odisha's rich art, heritage, and cinema to a broader audience. He also revealed plans for a more expansive festival starting in 2027, aimed at further highlighting Odisha's cultural and cinematic contributions to both national and international viewers.
The festival organizers expressed their appreciation to the Chief Minister for the backing provided by the Odisha Government’s Department of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture.
This four-day event will run from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Jayadev Bhawan, featuring not only Odia films but also a selection of acclaimed films from various languages including Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, and Demsa.
