Bhooth Bangla's Box Office Success
Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan's horror-comedy film, Bhooth Bangla, has successfully captured audience attention at the box office, despite facing multiple delays. The film has garnered mixed reviews but has impressively crossed the Rs 200 crore mark globally, marking it as a commercial success. However, as producer Ektaa Kapoor celebrated this achievement, reports emerged regarding unpaid dues amounting to Rs 48 lakh to various vendors.
Despite the film's financial triumph, several vendors have come forward claiming they have yet to receive their payments. In response to these allegations, the production team has issued a statement addressing the situation.

On May 7, Balaji Telefilms Limited refuted claims of unpaid vendor dues, asserting that they have met all contractual payment obligations related to their projects. This statement follows complaints from vendors who are still awaiting their payments. Reports indicate that one vendor is owed Rs 30 lakh, while another claims Rs 18 lakh is still outstanding. There are accusations that larger vendors have been prioritized for payments, leaving smaller vendors in a difficult position.
The film is a collaborative effort between Balaji Motion Pictures, led by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films.
As of now, vendors have not publicly responded to Balaji Motion Pictures' official statement.
