Pawan Singh Takes Action Against Threats

Mumbai: Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh has reported receiving threats from someone claiming affiliation with the Bishnoi gang, prompting him to file a police complaint.

The threats included warnings against performing alongside Salman Khan and demands for financial compensation, leading the authorities to initiate an investigation. Recently, Pawan Singh submitted two separate complaints to the Mumbai Police regarding extortion threats allegedly connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Both complaints have been directed to the Anti-Extortion Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch for further inquiry.

Singh's team approached law enforcement to file a formal complaint, and officials have confirmed that they are actively investigating the threats to ensure the actor's safety.

This alarming situation arose shortly after Pawan Singh announced on Instagram his participation in the 'Bigg Boss 19' finale alongside Salman Khan. He shared, “Bhaijaan ke saath Bigg Boss 19 ke Grand Finale mein humare saath judenge Powerstar Pawan Singh.” During the show, the Bhojpuri singer performed with Salman Khan and former contestant Neelam Giri.

Reports indicate that unknown individuals have demanded money from Singh and issued threats through various phone numbers, with connections traced from Bihar to Mumbai. Members of Singh's team and those involved in his management have also received similar threatening communications.

Singh reportedly received a phone call warning him not to perform with Salman, with the caller threatening 'serious consequences' if he went ahead with his scheduled appearance.

This incident is not the first time the Bishnoi gang has targeted public figures; they previously warned comedian Kapil Sharma against sharing the stage with Salman Khan during his guest appearance on 'The Kapil Sharma Show.'
