Los Angeles: Renowned actor Ben Affleck, who is set to reprise his role in the upcoming sequel to the 2016 thriller ‘Accountant’, has humorously acknowledged that his flirting skills mirror those of his character, Christian Wolff, in ‘The Accountant 2’.

Recently divorced from Jennifer Lopez, Affleck shared insights about his character's struggles with romance, stating, “He’s a guy trying to navigate relationships, unsure of how to put himself out there.”

He elaborated, “He’s not at ease with flirting, which is something many of us can relate to.”

The actor also discussed the complexities of dating, particularly in the initial stages, where one often wonders, ‘What does this gesture mean? Is this person interested in me? Will I embarrass myself if I approach them?’

Affleck commended his character's attempts at being vulnerable, including a clumsy yet sincere effort at line dancing during a date in the film, calling it a “lovely thing.”

He humorously remarked, “I doubt I’ll receive many requests for my line-dancing skills in future films. The phone hasn’t rung yet.”

These reflections come after his divorce from singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was finalized in January. The couple had rekindled their romance in 2021, nearly two decades after their initial engagement, but their marriage officially ended two years later in 2024.

In a recent GQ interview, Affleck described the separation as “drama-free” and expressed that he still holds a great deal of respect for Jennifer. He was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner from 2005 until 2018.
