Baahubali: The Epic Set for Re-Release in 2025
Celebrating a Milestone: Baahubali's 10th Anniversary
Director S.S. Rajamouli has announced a special re-release to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Baahubali: The Beginning. Both films in the Baahubali series, Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), will be presented together in a re-edited format titled Baahubali: The Epic.
This cinematic experience is scheduled to be released in theaters globally on October 31, 2025, and will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Rajamouli took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a poster featuring Prabhas, stating, “Baahubali… The beginning of many journeys. Countless memories. Endless inspiration. It’s been 10 years. Marking this special milestone with #BaahubaliTheEpic, a two-part combined film. In theatres worldwide on October 31, 2025.”

The Legacy of Baahubali
Under the direction of S.S. Rajamouli, Baahubali set new standards in Indian cinema with its stunning world-building, memorable characters, stirring soundtrack, and emotional storytelling. The franchise not only showcased the splendor of Mahishmati but also featured a stellar cast including Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nassar.
Having won multiple National Awards, including Best Feature Film and Best Special Effects, Baahubali holds a significant place in Indian film history. It ranks as the sixth highest-grossing Telugu film ever, and its Hindi dubbed version remains the highest-grossing dubbed Hindi film to date.
Upon its release, Baahubali: The Beginning grossed around Rs 650 crore globally. Its sequel, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, exceeded all expectations, earning Rs 1788 crore worldwide and becoming the third highest-grossing Indian film, following Dangal and Pushpa 2: The Rule.
