Mumbai, Nov 4: The Bollywood industry is currently facing a wave of threats. Following a recent shooting incident involving actor Tiger Shroff, reports have emerged that actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also been targeted with a threatening audio message.

According to sources, the audio clip features an individual claiming affiliation with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding a substantial sum of money.

Authorities have indicated that they are analyzing the audio to verify the identity of the sender against known suspects in their records.

Additionally, the cyber unit is actively tracking the phone number and location from which the threatening message was dispatched to Ayushmann.

In a related incident, actor Tusshar Kapoor reportedly received a similar threatening audio, where the sender identified himself as Harry Boxxer, also linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding Rs 5 crore from the 'Golmaal' star.

Initial investigations suggest that the authenticity of the audio may be questionable. Law enforcement is focused on identifying the individuals or groups behind these alarming threats.

Earlier this year, Boxer had allegedly issued threats to actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Rohit Shetty, but was reportedly detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in California.

The Lawrence Bishnoi group has also taken responsibility for the attack on Tiger Shroff, which occurred on October 18. Anil Pandit, a spokesperson for the group, posted on social media, warning that they would not hesitate to target anyone associated with Salman Khan.

In a chilling audio message, he stated, "Listen carefully, Salman Khan. If you do not apologize to my elder brother, Lawrence Bishnoi, or to the Bishnoi community, we will not spare anyone in your family. Remember this. Your security will not protect you from us."
