Arshad Warsi Reflects on His Journey with Rajkumar Hirani and Upcoming Projects

Mumbai: Actor Arshad Warsi has shared insights into his enduring relationship with director Rajkumar Hirani, highlighting the pivotal role Hirani has played in his career trajectory.

In a heartfelt statement, Warsi acknowledged that Hirani was instrumental not only in launching his career but also in revitalizing it during a challenging period. He expressed deep appreciation for the filmmaker's influence on his professional journey. Notably, Rajkumar Hirani is preparing to make his debut in the streaming arena with Pritam and Pedro, featuring both Arshad Warsi and Vir Hirani.

Warsi remarked, “Pritam And Pedro holds a special place in my heart for various reasons. Firstly, I truly enjoy collaborating with Raju. He is incredibly important to me. He essentially kickstarted my career and also helped me reignite it. I never thought that the little boy I once held would one day share the screen with me. Portraying Pedro was a joy; he is a unique character. I have yet to meet anyone quite like him, and you will understand once you see him.”

The actor also expressed his enthusiasm about the upcoming release of three major films within a month: Welcome To The Jungle, Dhamaal 4, and Pritam and Pedro. He stated, “I feel fortunate and thrilled as I anticipate three simultaneous releases. I am eager to see how audiences respond to the characters I have brought to life. Additionally, I am delighted to reunite with Javed; this franchise is something we create purely for children. Adi-Manav have brought so much happiness into everyone’s lives, and we are grateful to be part of it.”

Welcome To The Jungle and Dhamaal 4 are continuations of beloved comedy series, while Pritam And Pedro marks the third collaboration between Arshad Warsi and Rajkumar Hirani, following Munnabhai MBBS (2003) and Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006). Arshad has already begun promoting all three films and is preparing for consecutive releases in the coming weeks.

These comedy films are set to hit theaters, with Welcome To The Jungle scheduled for June 26 and Dhamaal 4 on July 10. In contrast, Pritam And Pedro will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting July 3, 2026.
