The latest action-packed film from Arjun Sarja, titled 'Blast', has kicked off its theatrical release with impressive earnings, raking in ₹1 crore nett in India on its first day. Directed by newcomer Subash K Raj, the movie stars Preity Mukhundhan and Abhirami in pivotal roles and was showcased in 1,022 screenings. The film achieved an overall occupancy rate of 26%, with Tamil Nadu being its strongest market.

'Blast' has started its box office journey on a solid note, achieving an overall occupancy of 26% on its opening day. The total gross collection for the first day stands at ₹1.15 crore, with Tamil Nadu contributing ₹95 lakhs. Karnataka added ₹10 lakhs, while Kerala brought in ₹7 lakhs. According to reports, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana combined contributed ₹1 lakh, and other regions of India accounted for approximately ₹2 lakhs. The Tamil version of the film recorded an occupancy of 28.01%, with morning shows starting at 15.46% and peaking at 40.31% during the night shows, indicating a growing audience turnout as the day progressed.

Initial audience feedback on social media has been positive, with many praising the film's action choreography and Arjun Sarja's commanding presence on screen. Viewers have highlighted the interval block and noted that the action sequences are among the film's standout features.
