When questioned about whether Arijit's retirement stemmed from the pressures of the music industry, Lewis responded, "I don't believe that's the case. The music industry has received plenty from Arijit; he has given so much. As an artist, when one's mindset changes, it’s natural to want to explore different avenues. Today, he might feel like doing something else, and that’s perfectly fine."
Lewis further noted that while many might see Arijit at the height of his career, the singer feels he has accomplished enough and is ready to pursue other interests. "He’s not abandoning music; he simply wishes to focus on his own creations and classical music. It’s commendable that he’s making such choices at this stage in his career," he added.
