Aparshakti Khurana Ventures into Tamil Cinema with Exciting New Thriller
Aparshakti Khurana's Tamil Film Debut
New Delhi: Actor Aparshakti Khurana is making his entry into Tamil cinema with the upcoming high-concept crime thriller ROOT – Running Out of Time.
Known for his roles in the Stree films and the Jubilee series, Khurana will share the screen with actor Gautham Karthik in this Tamil production.
Currently being filmed in Chennai, ROOT – Running Out of Time is directed by Sooriyaprathap S and produced by Verus Productions.
The filmmakers describe the project as a "novel attempt to merge emotional depth with elements of science fiction and a crime thriller narrative."
Expressing his excitement, Khurana stated, "I am absolutely thrilled to be making my debut in Tamil cinema with ROOT – Running Out of Time. It’s a challenging and unique script, and I’m excited to explore this new territory. The opportunity to work with such a talented team and to connect with a new audience is something I’m truly looking forward to."
In addition to this project, Khurana will also appear alongside Vaani Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in the comedy-drama Badtameez Gill, directed by Navjot Gulati.
