MTV Splitsvilla 16 contestant Anuska Ghosh has opened up about her ongoing feud with co-contestant Akanksha Choudhary. The two, who previously faced off in the Miss Universe India 2025 pageant, have found themselves at odds again in the reality series. Anuska expressed her disappointment regarding Akanksha's treatment of fellow participant Mohit Magotra, stating that Akanksha never sought her perspective on the matter. Furthermore, Anuska accused Akanksha of using public relations strategies to garner positive feedback on her social media.
Anuska Ghosh Calls Out Akanksha Choudhary's Underhanded Tactics
In a recent interview with Zoom, Anuska posed a critical question to Akanksha, saying, "You're clearly here for your own benefit. But as a woman, shouldn't you have checked in with me to see if we were okay before pursuing Mohit? A little consideration would have gone a long way."
Anuska related her own experiences, recalling a similar situation involving Yogesh just days earlier. She elaborated, "Now, I'm in a position where my connection is leaning towards someone else. Aren't we in the same situation? If she had been upfront about her intentions with Mohit, it would have been a different story. Instead, she acted covertly, fully aware of my disagreement with Mohit the night before."
Anuska Ghosh Discusses Akanksha's Social Media PR Strategies
Addressing the topic of Akanksha's online public relations, Anuska remarked, "I might stir the pot by saying this, but I will. If you look at her posts, a significant portion of the comments come from neutral viewers who are not in her favor. Why did she treat Mohit this way? She's making comments to Zalak [Gohil] while trying to win over Mohit. Whatever PR tactics she employs are her own... those bots and fake accounts are saying, 'Nahin, Akanksha devi hai, etc.'
She added, "I don't want to dwell on this too much because by the end of the show, the truth will come to light. There is a reality beyond the show, and people will see what really happened. Relying solely on PR won't be enough. Life is a long journey."
Despite the tension with Akanksha, Anuska revealed that she never cried on camera. "I have a strong personality, and everyone knows that. It's not about being weak or strong. If I feel emotional, I prefer to step away, collect myself, and return as if nothing happened. That's just who I am," she concluded.
