The incident occurred on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, leading to his immediate hospitalization. Prior to the crash, Anurag had openly discussed his strained family relationships. Following the accident, he made serious allegations against his family members, claiming that his father lodged a police report against him on the same night of the incident. Anurag expressed his disbelief upon reading the contents of the complaint.

He expressed his pain over the 'false' accusations made against him, stating, "The entire narrative was twisted to portray me negatively. If I don't counter these claims, I risk facing jail time," he said in Hindi. He firmly denied any wrongdoing or conspiracy against his family.
Hospital Experience and Family Accusations
Anurag described his hospital stay as one of the most 'humiliating' periods of his life, recalling how he was bedridden for a month and had to rely on diapers. He also mentioned that his parents accused him of coercing them into signing property documents and refuted claims that his mother felt threatened by his friends visiting their home. Anurag asserted that he possesses evidence to validate his side of the story.

In a previous vlog, Anurag disclosed that he had to sell most of his motorcycles last year due to financial difficulties. He shared how painful it was to part with each bike, noting that he was not in the right mindset to vlog about it at the time. He also mentioned that the electricity in his garage was cut off because the property was not registered in his name.
On a brighter note, Anurag and his wife Ritika welcomed their first child, a baby boy, just weeks after his car accident, celebrating parenthood on March 27.
