'Metro In Dino' is scheduled to hit theaters on July 4, 2025. Looking ahead, Anurag Basu is also set to direct 'Aashiqui 3', although there has been some controversy regarding the film's title. He mentioned, 'I’m unsure of the current title; filming begins this month. We haven’t finalized the female lead yet, but an announcement will be made soon.'

The film features Kartik Aaryan and Sreeleela. There were speculations about Triptii Dimri being cast opposite Aaryan, but Sreeleela has been confirmed. Addressing the rumors about Triptii, Basu clarified, 'Her image was not a factor. I would never judge an actor based on their previous roles. The story of Aashiqui has evolved, and I’m not sure where those rumors originated.'
