He specifically mentioned Alia's experience with online trolls following her Cannes appearance, stating that those who criticize often do so out of idleness, seeking relevance through negativity. He remarked, “Criticism has become the favorite national pastime of certain people, or maybe a full-time job,” indicating that such behavior is more shameful than anger-inducing.

He noted the challenges of working with multiple actors and performing a musical alongside Anu Malik, but expressed joy in the audience's applause, emphasizing the unique thrill of live theatre without retakes.
